This is our Managing Director, Ben. He started Bon Plumbing 12 years ago, and the principle of the business was simple; to make sure there is enough time to do the job right whilst providing every customer with the courtesy and care they deserve. After completing his apprenticeship, Ben worked for a branch of a national franchise. Ben became frustrated with the time he was given to complete the work and the size of the invoices he was handing out to customers. Coupled with the huge amount of paperwork required, he was left disillusioned with the industry and frustrated with the level of service he was able to offer the customers. Having taken the plunge into self-employed life, Ben was able to take his time, have a proper conversation with the customer, decide on the correct course of action and charge a fair price. Ben prides himself on being able to communicate clearly & effectively with his customers, team and suppliers, which allows him to run a reliable and efficient operation that exceeds the expectations of our customers. This is Matthew, our multi-talented Director of Construction. He can do it all! He has been working in the trades since he started high school, picking up a wealth of skills helping out his dad on a diverse range of jobs. As well as being a qualified award-winning plasterer, Matthew can turn his hand to tiling & joinery. His attention to detail is second to none and makes sure the finish on our bathrooms is as good as it can be. Matthew quietly & methodically goes about his task, and it is often said to us how nice he is to have in the house. Customers can’t believe how little disruption there is to their homes when we are carrying out major projects. This is down to Matthew’s cool head and always having a solution to the problem. He has a calming influence and can keep customers minds at rest in any situation. Mark is our Director of Plumbing, he has over 20 years of experience and specialises in fault-finding. Mark has been a lead engineer for a national provider of insurance-based work. There is not a lot Mark has not seen, and what he can’t fix, he will find out how. From shower & taps, to heating or fill valves, Mark has a trick up his sleeve for them all. If an obscure part is needed, Mark knows where to find it. If something requires a little patience, some know how, or plain old perseverance, then Mark is your man. Mark focuses on the servicing side of plumbing and can fix a number of problems in a day. It is our hope that, if needed, we can get to you that day.
